Casper the Friendly Ghost

Casper the Friendly Ghost was created in the 1930s by Seymour Reit and Joe Oriolo.  He was originally designed for a children’s book, but was quickly popularized through a series of cartoons.

Recently, the notebooks of Reit and Oriolo were uncovered, which revealed several other characters they considered developing before they settled on Casper the Friendly Ghost.  The following are some of these characters:
